The Lord redeems from Despair,

Mending hearts that need repair,

He is our Joy & our strength,

Abounding in infinite length.

Resisting sin gains a win,

Sparing Eternal Cost,

And 'tho it seems,

The stuff of dreams,

Free will is still not lost,

For many roads lead to Hell,

But also to Heavenly Fate,

If only we choose well,

'Tween the wail & wait.

Nothing in this mortal life,

Including stress & strife,

Separates us from Him,

Resist the devil & decree:

“From Mind & Heart-ye flee!”

Even when we feel stuck,

God sorts the mire & muck,

Our Jehovah Rapha always reigns,

Guiding hearts through birthing pains.

As long as we keep on learning,

And our hearts, for Him, heed yearning,

We may stray from being devout,

But His work continues-No doubt!

The Lord knows our inmost being,

'Tho this may not be, very freeing,

But true freedom, when we draw near it,

Is yolked alone, to the Holy Spirit.

Righteous anger 'tis no sin,

Expose the deeds of evil!

Both without & within,

Deep hides the weevil!

The crosses we bear will earn us our crown,

When by faith we gain renown,

Enviers may mock & may inflict,

'Tho secretly respect the strength we convict.

Lord please renew from within,

A right spirit to quell chagrin,

Restore me to health & vigour,

In the face of Life's rigour,

So the heart's desire can be granted,

For seeds of Hope & Joy planted.

Sometimes Jesus turns wine into water,

To help lambs lead wolves to slaughter,

One must oft commit a sin,

To resurrect a virtue,

Much to the chagrin,

Of our Heavenly Potter.

Pushing against time & tide,

Slaying sins of sloth & pride,

His Spirit quickens within the breast,

The devil's wares laid to rest.

Balancing Justice with Grace,

Puts a smile upon His face,

We are forgiven, but accountable,

'Tho no sin is insurmountable.

In Christ is abiding Peace,

Endless Joy to be released,

When we surrender all to Him,

Resisting the One of baleful vim.

'Tho healing seems light years away,

Beyond light speed, He holds sway,

Smithing Souls to eternally bind,

With Divine lot in due time.

The Lord gives riches, of celestial worth,

Sound investments, while upon Earth,

All receiving reward in kind,

At White Throne for all mankind.

All forces serve the same God,

Both Good & Evil require His nod,

But take heart 'tho ye may be weary,

Faith & Hope enable us to be cheery.

All who seek shall find,

Wisdom & Peace in kind,

The Lord is gracious with His gifts,

Thereby bridging all rifts.

Confess with your mouth & be saved,

As Truth upon the heart 'tis engraved,

Jesus is King & sovereign Master,

Steering us from corruption & disaster.

In our world of endless weeping,

Are we awake, or are we sleeping?

He taketh from us, a heart of stone,

That deeper roots may thus be grown.

Acute sentience goes to the resilient,

'Tho we be as dull, as brilliant,

Tempus et aestu flow on their course,

As do insolence & redemptive remorse,

The hardest hearts are surest to break,

With fools galore attending their wake,

Bondage binds but also frees,

Slain in the Spirit, the Devil flees!

Demons are soon abated,

When His appetance is sated,

For our obedience & trust,

Is a discarnate lust,

That is lightly weighted.

More to come...
